Today was a snow day. It started snowing around lunch and has snowed quite hard for quite some time. I don't think that anyone was expecting it. The kids were happy when they got home from school. They hope that it snows enough that they'll be out tomorrow.
Mr Ed says, "Gimme an apple!"

The kids and I walked through the woods to see them.
So, are you using the telephoto or playing with the aperature settings? And you have to have tweaked the color in Tinkerbell's red coat picture, right? Something like bold or vivid...
Check out the shot of the Dr. Seuss books on my blog. I did it with the normal 18/55 but played with the aperature settings.
Learning slowly, but loving it.
BTW, I love the shots of the kids--especially Tinkerbell.
